Paul B. Thompson is the author of more than 20 books, including the Ergoth Trilogy and By the Sword, a biography of Joan of Arc for young readers. He lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children.

TONYA C. COOK and her husband, Greg, live in North Carolina. She is an avid skier and has a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina. She is coauthor with Paul B. Thompson of numerous short stories and novels set in the Dragonlance world.

I was a bit surprised where the story has gone so far but it's a good read. I would recommend this book to fans of the Dragonlance series.

This is one you can skip!!! Katrina and Strum 'flying' around in a Gnome boat---get real. If you read 'Generations' this makes even less sense!! Sorry I bought it.

This book on its own is pretty good.. A little wacky but hey, it's Dragonlance. If you enjoyed the Gnomes in the Chronicles books you will love this one. The book has one huge flaw: IT CREATES A HUGE PLOT HOLE IN THE SERIES!! I don't want to ruin this for anyone.. but for those who have read Dragons of Summer Flame, or Second Generation: Steel could not exist if this is an accurate telling of the story. Thats all I will say without spoiling any of the books.
