This book shows how to make drawings with whole circles and parts of circles- it could definitely be used as the basis for a lesson on fractions.
My 5 and 7 year old grandsons love this book....they were busy making all kinds of projects from the pieces of the pie and also learned a little about fractions.
This book is great for expanding on fractions! I have been using it with my second graders. They have been very creative with their pictures and you can tie it in to writing.
