I'm kind of a sucker for fairy tale-ish things, but even if I wasn't I would have liked this book. It has some really amazing authors. Of course some stories are better than others, but all in all it was quite good. Some of the stories were the king that your still thinking about days later. Loved it! highly highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this group of stories. I'm a HUGE fan of retold fairy tales, I can't get enough! Most of these stories were really original (well... ;) ) and engrossing. There were a few that left me wondering what was going on at the end (and not in a good way). But overall, I'm glad I read these stories.

Some stories were better than others and at least one has been published in another anthology I have. Really, really wish they wouldn't do that as it was one of the best in the book. Also, not sure what the fascination with rapunzel is as there several variations of that story. Not bad overall, but not amazing either.

There was a very nice even collection of different works, based on various tales and it was a pleasant read.
