From the beautiful photos to the clever Quick Start Guide, I was immediately impressed with this cookbook. It contained so many tips, including advice for recipe doubling, handling leftovers, planning ahead, and grocery shopping for two and, for how to make healthy cooking more manageable. What I enjoyed most about this book was the way it was organized. The first part talked about how to plan and cook healthy dishes for two, while the second half of the book contained an exhaustive list of well-ordered recipes. Each recipe contained a brief description, as well as information on prep time, special attributes, nutritional info and “pairs with” accompaniments. If you love to cook healthy recipes for small crowds, this book is for you!

Coming from a big family, I had no idea how to cook for two. Not even the slightest clue as to. Date night's with my husband had many leftovers and not to mention it was always the same thing. This book has definitely helped me in that are. This book offers so many different healthy recipes for a serving size of two people. I like some of these recipes so much that I will indeed double or triple them to feed the whole family for an evening. The tips of this book and the way it outlines everything make it a huge timesaver and easy to plan ahead. The pictures with the recipes alone will have your mouth watering and you waiting to get into that kitchen. This book is a main staple in my home. This book was received for the purpose of inspection and for an unbiased review.

I loved this cookbook. It offers so many delicious recipes and even guides you through weekly meal planning. I really enjoyed the “pair with” recommendations for a snack, side or dessert to go with the entrée recipes. I would recommend this cookbook to any couple trying to eat healthy.

I originally got this for recipes for me and my husband. My son is 5 years old and it is hard to incorporate healthy foods into his meals so I try to hide them for him. This book was great for us. My husband has been wanting to eat healthy for a while but I get tired of making the same meals over and over. This book helped me with ideas for simple yet delicious meal ideas for healthy eating. It also helps me a lot with meal prepping because I always have the excuse that I don't have enough time to cook and meal prepping makes my life so easy! Great book

Health cooking for two combines delicious and easy recipes with great tips for preparing you meals and avoiding waste. Cooking for only two people can be very difficult sometimes, and this book has easy to follow recipes and smart tips like precutting veggies or incorporating left overs into you next meal. I also really like the tip for doubling recipes, so in the even that you are cooking for more than two people, you can still use these simple recipes and tips.  I am really looking forward to making the most of my meals with this guide.

What is great about the Healthy Cook book for Two is i can make these meals fairly quick and it's items I mostly keep in the pantry. My biggest problem with eating is I’m too annoyed to make food after work so i just grab something easy (and fattening!). I also like that you don't have to cook something for 5+ servings.  I don't want to eat the same thing the whole week long, i like to have some variety! What really seals the deal with this book is the listing of the nutritional facts. It's nice to have everything calculated for you, instead of having to count up everything and divide it by how many servings you plan to get out of it.   I would recommend this book for couples or single people looking to get on a better diet. .

This is a great introductory book for anyone who is interested in understanding the basic concepts of meal planning and also includes a large number of recipes (175) that are created with two people in mind.  It’s great for small families or for those who want to prepare extra food for later meals.

This book provides with recipes for two people (or you can adjust the ratios when cooking for more people). It has an introduction part where it says about planning ahead and gives you tips so that it is easier to shop for two people and how you can last your groceries. The recipes in the book asks for ingredients that are easily available in your local groceries, which is great because I hate going to specialty markets for buying only 2-3 ingredient’s for a recipe.  Some of the recipes sound delicious and I am dying to try them all. I really like the desserts, I can have a peace of mind when having them knowing they are healthier option than a bowl of ice-cream. One thing that I would have loved is, if it had more pictures in the book of the final product of the recipes, which would have made the book 5 stars for me.

This cookbook is honestly amazing! I often find myself search for HOURS on the internet looking for inspired ideas for clean healthy meals for the two of us. This cookbook really broke it down with tons of sections chock full of healthy recipes and useful tips! It's a real lifesaver for anyone who is just getting started with truly healthy cooking or those of us looking for some great inspiration and reminders!

This is perfect for a couple it provides many amazing flavor filled meals with less leftovers to throw away. I know when I cook I cook for an army and if it was two of us it would be way too much food. This book portions down meal planning, it strives to get a meal planned to save time, money and give you some R&R. The recipes are very easy to follow and I like the nutritional info it offers after each recipe. It offers so many tricks on how to not throw your money away by buying too much. Pre-cut, freeze and watch for salt, sugar, fats and preservatives. Definitely a must have for the smaller families who don't have reason to cook for 6. Perfect for newlyweds or empty nesters.

A nice collection of small portion recipes that are easy to read and follow.  The book provides ingredient notifications and the time involved to cook it in a block above each recipe.  Makes for easy meal planning and also makes it easy to find an ingredient-restricted recipe if you’re cooking for someone with allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients.

I cook most of the meals around here for me and my mom. So I was super excited to get this book. I am happy to see that they put the nutritional information with each recipe. Some of the recipes seem to be kind of on the expensive side. Duck and lamb are a bit out of my budget. So if you are cooking for too and tired of having tons of leftovers or having to get takeout, then this book is for you.

After reading this book, I feel prepared to make healthy dinners for my family using whole foods that are good for you. This book is great for planning ahead so you can save time and money. I loved all of the tips for menu planning and there are tons of recipes that are easy to double if you’ve got company. The best part of the book was how you could save money by buying ingredients for multiple recipes at once: no wasted food!

I was so happy to have this book come into my life.  I am usually cooking for two.  My husband works most nights so it leaves my daughter and I at home.  I usually turn to quick fixes and microwave food.  This has changed my life.  We are now eating more whole foods and fresh foods thanks to this cookbook.  It gives you great tips on how to plan your meals for the week and also how to plan your shopping trip to make things simpler.  There are so many great healthy recipes in this book.  If you cook for two and want to eat healthy and live life easier then you must get this book.

I love how the author addresses is how a lot of people throw out food that could be used to make other meals by using the same ingredients across multiple meals. Chapter 3 is the beginning of some delicious recipes, you can see if it needs to be prepped ahead of time or if you can cook it quickly by looking in the upper right hand corner. This is not something I have seen in other cookbooks and it is helpful. I would recommend this book for beginners and experts.

If you are cooking for two and having too many leftovers, than this book is for you! This book gives some background to effective meal planning to reduce planning, grocery cost, and waste. It gives ideas on how to use multiple items in your weekly meals to not only save money by purchasing in bulk, but how you will reduce the waste of items you may not use often. The recipes provided in this book are easy to make and are not to specialized so that people will be able to find the ingredients in their local grocery section. This book also gives you tools on how to correctly double recipes, which for me, I have been cooking for quite some time and I did not even know these scenarios! An absolutely great book that will probably pay for itself in the first month of your meal planning!

This is the ideal cookbook for me at this time in my life...I usually only cook for myself and my two young sons and since I have a brand new awesome crock-pot, I am using it more and more. The recipes are simple to understand, the ingredients are basic and easy to find  and putting it all in my slow cooker has made my life so much more efficient and stress free. Our dinner meal is cooking while I am  working or doing other things and it's ready in time for us to eat with minimal effort. Not to mention that the recipes are healthy, therefore, my kids and I are eating better and we even usually have left overs for the next day. In addition to great recipes, this cook book also has  lots of money saving tips and meal planning ideas. As a single mom, saving money nd living within a budget is vital and this cook book is just what we needed to get us and keep us on track with our meals and our budget. Even if you have a larger family, this cookbook would be helpful as you could easily double the recipes for a bit more. I received this book at no charge in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. However, all opinions are entirely my own as always.

While I very much like cooking, its nice to know how to make a meal that's only for two people. I am a family of four that consists of myself,  my husband and two children. However there are often times when it's just the two of us for lunch, or for a weekend dinner.  We aren't totally fond of all left overs so I loved the concept of this. As far as the recipes go, I really enjoyed some of them, while others of them really weren't my style. I like try new things, but it would be very hard for me to make some of there recipes knowing what's going  into them. However if someone else had made it, I perhaps would be more inclined to try the recipe. I do also like that they take an average dish, and bring it up a notch with adding simple ingredients, or more complex ingredients. I felt the book really kept everyone in mind as far as diet, and nutrition. I saw the use of low sodium items, as well as an entire section for the vegan eaters. It was an over all  good book, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to down size their food spending, and making.
