Overview

Sky Rider Nessa and Sky Sword Astrid are back on their Rucinta adventure in Hot Serpents and Fast Riders. Having passed their exhibition exams, the pair get thrown head over tail into the Spiral Tower machine. Nessa and Astrid accept their lot in their Rucinta life and decide to get into trouble often to spice things up. They begin training in a flying combat wing, but before they can recover from the growing pains, they see their first action. Nessa tries to recover from the violent trauma as they get thrown into Rucinta politics when the former Crown Prince Radducal of Mavolan invites them to the Mavolan royal family's annual harvest celebration. By reputation, Nessa and Astrid cannot turn nothing down but their collars and find themselves caught up in a continent wide struggle that will call on a newfound battle prowess that Nessa is afraid to acknowledge.
