How the Stars Fall

Based in a daunting village of the East, the novel focuses on a variety of complex emotions and behaviours that portray not only the perplexing depth of humans but also the disdainful affect of culture.

It begins with a vivid portrayal of justice - or so it seems - where the death penalty of one of our most beloved character is announced.

The novel continues into the aesthetic and soothing introduction of our protagonist, Azmina, who's an eighteen year old woman with dreams that run too wild according to her family.

Azmina is forced into marriage at her ripe age which seems to take her down a path of peace and turmoil,  simultaneously.

Our novel takes a heartbreaking twist when our protagonist becomes a slave to society and is murdered by her own blood.

Based on several true incidents,  the novel is an emotional rollercoaster that shows the scandals of cultural oppression.
