Jingle Dance is about the love and remorse that lead two women to participate in the healing sanctity of the Jingle Dance, originated by the Ojibwe. Two women move to Montana to find peace. Kate, a writer, escapes a dissolute past to seek healing. Alicia, a French teacher, takes her children to a new life, escaping a failed relationship with a woman named Ziva.
