Patti Wigington has been practicing as a Pagan and witch since 1987. She is the founder and high priestess of a local coven, works as an educator in the witchcraft community, blogs about magical things, and has a low-key obsession with genealogical research. In addition to a full-time job in the corporate world, Patti served as editor of the Paganism & Wicca site at LearnReligions, previously About.com, from 2007–2020. She is the author of a number of books on magical practice and serves as a board member for the Central Ohio Pagan Alliance. Patti has a BA in history from Ohio University as well as a graduate certificate in management and leadership and lives in a magical cottage in the forest with a large dog, a pair of fat, lazy cats, and an absurd collection of tarot decks. She spends her rare bits of free time putzing around in her garden, hiking local trails, dying her hair interesting colors, and performing random acts of recipe experimentation.
