Moons' Dreaming
Moons’ Dreaming is an epic fantasy novel, a tale of intrigue and magic, love and sacrifice. In a world under three moons, in the courts and villages of three kingdoms, a recent plague has ravaged the population and damaged, perhaps irreparably, the foundations of society. The lives of an exiled princess, a troubled guard captain, and a stubborn carter become entwined as each struggles to deal with the threat posed by a dying king and his power-mad heir…and the question of whether magic still has any relevance in their world.
Moons’ Dreaming is the first novel of a two-book epic fantasy saga, “The Children of the Rock,” co-written by New York Times best-selling author Susan Sizemore and Marguerite Krause. Susan and Marguerite set out to write a story about belief and disbelief, duty and selfishness, the nature of parenthood, and the many different aspects of love. They also explore the ways in which the lives of people can become entwined, sometimes intentionally but, more often, in entirely unanticipated ways.

About the Author

Marguerite Krause and Susan Sizemore have been friends since their days writing and editing for a Star Trek fanzine. In fact, they met through writing. Marguerite was Susan’s first editor and publisher… long ago in a galaxy far far away. When they decided to try their hands at collaborative writing, it seemed only natural to create a fantasy universe together. The results are Moons’ Dreaming and Moons’ Dancing.
Susan is the New York Times bestselling author of dozens of romance, paranormal, and fantasy novels in hardcover, paperback, and ebook formats. She has won the Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart award. Marguerite is a freelance editor and writer, and for recreation plays the Highland snare in a bagpipe band.
