Never Too Late could not have come at a better time for me. After reaching that certain age, I had been feeling lost and not sure how to go about "fixing" myself. As soon as I saw this book I purchased it right away, didn't even have to think twice. Ms. Cook offered great advice and made me realize that I wasn't alone in this. Her stories about her experiences in Isla Majures were not only informative but entertaining as well. Telling how others reinvented themselves was so helpful and inspiring. Thank you Claire Cook for helping me get to where I need to go on my own personal path to reinvention.
I'm a big fan of Claire Cook's novels, and this first nonfiction book of hers has made me an even bigger fan. Reading Never Too Late is like spending time with someone who not only cares what happens to you, but also has the information you need to reach your dream. And instead of keeping it to herself, she actually shares it! Unlike most self-help books, this book has concrete answers and useful strategies, as well as lots of inspiration, terrific stories and great quotes. I read it on my iPad and then bought the paper book so that I could cover it in highlights and Post-Its and read it when I need it. Well done, Claire.
Another one knocked out of the park! Fantastic romantic comedy light enough to sit on the beach with and in depth enough to not lose interest. As always, the recipe gentle tucked in the pages is something I always try and enjoy. With the story line being so realistic, it is very easy to relate to Sara or her sisters at any given time. When is the next one coming????
