This book is great, like the entire series! Who knew Elizabeth would do something so Un-Elizabeth-like? This book has got surprise and stresses friendship, just like all of the other Alice books, which, BTW, I absolutely love! Each one can be read over and over again and this is no exception. Alice has a fun-filled summer with her best friends, Pamela and Elizabeth, as well as her friend Gwen, after deeply contemplating whether or not to go. I'd recommend this book for anyone age 12 and up.

The Alice series is a great way to understand life growing up as a girl. It explains things that parents might not've been able to explain well to their kids. But also shows how Alice deals with several every-day problems. Phyllis Reynolds Neylor keeps readers hooked on this series, I am just finishing Simply Alice and love the series already. I don't like a lot of series but I love this series! I recommend these to anyone and everyone!

I liked it, but to tell the truth, it wasn't my favorite one. For one thing, the whole deal with Liz and how she reacted to it made absolutely no sense. In my opinion, the plot could've been better. But still, Great Job Phyllis. I still Love the Alice Series.

The book is fabulous! I finished it the same day I got it, and wasn't disappointed one bit! The things Alice is experiencing shows that she is really growing older and maturing like she should. Like the things at camp, with her friends, her family, her ex-boyfriend.....read and enjoy!

The Alice books are absolutely wonderful. Naylor picks up where Judy Blume left off; giving girls aged 10 and up an honest look at 'normal.' Everyone should read them. Even my husband enjoyed them.

My daughter has been reading Alice books since she was 12. I have always approved of her reading the books beacause I think that they are quality litterature and they help young girls with the problems and sittuations that come up in every day life. I know that some people think that the author sometimes goes a little far with the story line but not for me. If my daughter had not started reading the books then I think that she would have had a lot of social problems at school. These books do help young women and girls with everyday life.
