As a mom who works full time, I'm always on the lookout for ways to save time and just make life a little easier. Normally I go to Pinterest to hunt down recipes, but I came across this book, it was only 99 cents, and I had a pressure cooker that had been collecting dust for years. So I figured, why not? I'm really glad I did. First off, the recipes are 5 ingredients or less. Most you probably have in your pantry or fridge already (with the exception of the meats, of course). Second, super easy prep (that's fast). Third, all the recipes are pretty healthy. My family are very picky eaters, so I would have been happy if 50% of the recipes would be something they'd like. However, after flipping through the recipes, I'd say they'd probably eat 90% of what's in this book. (They don't like fish, but I'm still going to give a salmon recipe a try!) I'm really looking forward to trying out the recipes, eating healthier, and saving time! I recommend the cookbook to anyone trying to do the same.
I really liked the book Power Pressure Cooker XL Cookbook. I have been debating for several months now if I should purchase a pressure cooker or not but I think after reading this book I am finally ready to make the purchase! The book takes you through each step of learning to use your pressure cooker. I especially liked the chapter that helped you convert your cook times from slow cookers to pressure cookers. We are all so busy nowadays and i very rarely use my slow cooker anymore but I miss those recipes so this would be perfect! After explaining all the basics of the pressure cooker comes the recipes. Which I must admit, is my favorite part! The recipes are easy yet sound delicious. I just can't get over how quickly you can make some of these meals!!!
Power Pressure Cooker XL Cookbook is a thorough, interesting cookbook for this powerful tool, and does a great job to teach new owners of the appliance how to operate it. The recipes do not assume that you have used the pressure cooker before, and there is a great section in the front about how to operate your pressure cooker. This book has 200 recipes for things that I would have never have thought that I could make with a Power Pressure Cooker XL. There are several cheesecake recipes, as well as some breakfast recipes. Of course, its unlikely that someone would purchase this book without owning a pressure cooker, but I think that the table of contents in this book is enough encouragement to try one if it interests you. One of the most surprising parts to me was the books hefty Vegan section, and there are also vegetarian recipes throughout the rest of the book. I wouldn't have thought that this tool was a good fit for vegetarians and vegans, but it proved me wrong! This book is amazing if you have a Power Pressure Cooker XL, and I think it would be a great addition if you're giving the cooker to someone as a gift. If you have a Power Pressure Cooker XL and aren't sure where to start, or just use it to make the same recipes over and over again, you need this cookbook!
Interesting ideas for food with a pressure cooker I've never used a pressure cooker before, but I am one who likes to cook and liked to cook healthy. I loved to cook all day and have food taste like they were cooked all day, but most of the time that is not possible. I think after reviewing this book, that I may add pressure cooker to my list of small appliances to buy and buy soon. I will definitely use this book to create some of the amazing recipes in the book. It's a good book with new ideas on how to create amazing dishes.
