This is some of the best science fiction I've read, and I have read a lot. interesting technologies, character creation and the constant struggle between evil and good. Just as in real life the good ones don't always make it through. Some people don't like long drawn out story lines, and that's to be expected. Those like myself who know life doesn't end at the last turn of the page always seek the next chapter or book or the next day in life itself. This is a read for the latter, and hopefully this talented story teller will continue on for many more. Yes, I confess I am a fan. Maybe that makes me biased, but Mr. Lalonde can keep writing just for me. Cheers, now to wait for the next read.

Ijust wish that the only people to die and stay dead were not some of the Freground group! The series ended strong. I just hope there is more some day. This universe has so much left to offer.

I've been reading this series over the past few years and it never disappoints the character development and storyline are the best I've read in Sci-fi. Well worth picking up and following these characters through their adventures across their Galaxy.

I absolutely loved every one of the books in the series but reading this one i felt like the last 300 pages were rushed and the quality was degrading. The quality was still very high and i also really liked this book, i just felt as though it finished rough. I will definitely recommend this book and the whole series to friends and family and be looking for more from this author.

The saga continues to be compelling, and wide ranging; even pulling in the expendables story that held my interest while waiting for #7. I know fast usually means "Halfast" but I have two complaints: The editing of typos needs a professional/better hand (The number and nature were distracting), and the wait between books is frustrating. I know one probably conflicts with the other but, deal with it. Waiting for #8

Fin... a much improved and smoother read. A sometimes subtle yet obvious evolution to our characters and their authur. I couldn't put it down and found myself looking forward to each new chapter with an anticipation akin to my childhood captivation with the many serials I watched Saturday mornings on the TV or at the cinema. Yes... it was worth the wait.

Better than average but this series is getting long. Main characters that are indestructable are boring, there's no suspence in that. Still it's worth the read.
