There is a place just out of Stigler Oklahoma called Mudlark. It is bottomland with rolling hills the folks there call mountains. Thirty miles east of Mudlark across the Canadian River is Ft.Smith Arkansas. When this country was just a territory called the Indian Nations Judge Parker would send his marshals into Oklahoma to hunt down outlaws.
