You must read this trilogy. I hope the author continues this story plot. It would be nice to see this story develop further. Get it, you will enjoy!

This is perfect for fans of greek mythology writer Rick Riordan. It is the perfect mix of suspense, mystery, mythology, action, and romance!

There really should be because there are still many looses ends at the end if this book. The author couldpul it off without it being painful so yeah. The not colpletely over still things to find out ending i my only complaint. Iwould read the next book i she made one though. This was areally good series and i loooooooove percy jackson so i had really high expectations in the greek mythology bit. Both riordan and childs have their own spin on it so it a little different. I higly reccomend this trilogy to mythology loving teen girls. -demigod princess

A fine ending to the series. This book was heavily plot driven as opposed to being character driven. I think I would have given it more stars had it not necessarily been the opposite, but had more character depth. I also think that the ending may have been a set up for another book. I have seen so many authors who don't know when to stop. They start with a trilogy and in turns into 6 books. Anyway, though I would love to read more about the girls, this was a good ending,I don't think there needs to be more. Hopefully Ms Childs agrees.

Greer, Gretchen, and Grace are descendants of the great Medusa herself. They also happen to be the three sisters prophesied as the Key Generation. It is up to them to open the magical doorway between our world and the abyss. The abyss is a land where creatures, both good and evil, live. They require entrance into our world, however, in order to survive. If Gretchen, Grace, and Greer do not open the door in time, every monster and beast trapped in the abyss will die. It isn’t an easy task. There are monsters and gods who do not want the door opened, and those who never want it to close again. With two different factions out to stop them, the sisters are forced to face unimaginable obstacles. Will they be able to open the doorway before it is too late and the doorway seals forever? This third and final installment in the Medusa Girls trilogy was much more entertaining than I expected. I was thrilled to see Thane return in this novel, just as mysterious as before, but also with some answers. I was also happy with the pace in which the book progressed. In the second book, I felt that, at times, the book was rushed and at other times it was slow going. This book kept a steady pace that enhanced the excitement, especially during any action/adventure scenes. I was happy to see that the Olympian gods also appeared in this novel, since they weren’t really in the first books. I did happen to notice some mistakes, one stood out the most because it could have been a lovely plot twist, but nothing ever came of it, so, I must assume that the one character’s “extra knowledge” was an error. Though the error was small, it wasn’t as though it was a misplaced or misspelled word. Rather, one character had information that he should not have had, (I triple checked to make sure). Ultimately, it is a small error and should not deter most readers. Along with the error, I had some unanswered questions at the novel’s end. That said, they were minor questions, some of which other readers may not even question. I would recommend this novel to anyone who read the first two books, anyone with an interest in Greek mythology, and young girls everywhere. I loved this exciting ending to this series. The girls learn to work together and you can tell that they truly love each other after all they have gone through. It is hard for them to admit it at times, but they get over their insecurities and admit that they care about each other and also the boys that have come along for the ride. Each of the couples is so cute and unique in their own way and by the end you can see that they will be together for a awhile. I loved all the monsters, even the scary ones. There were twists and turns, some I saw coming and some I didn't. Altogether I loved this series and would recommend it to anyone who loves Greek mythology with a twist.

To be honest, I hated Oh. My. Gods. It was beyond pathetic. But I honestly enjoyed this trilogy with its non-stop action and a new twist on Medusa, the only mortal Gorgon.
