Maria Thompson, a young single mother, finds a mysterious box on her doorstep. It contains an AI Doll for her daughter, Lily. She's puzzled by the gift, as she doesn't know who it came from or why someone would send it. Nevertheless, Lily is thrilled with her new toy and spends hours playing with it.
