The Asylum for The Strange and The Different

A selfish and self-obsessed woman suspects her young son is a 'falulah' (a 'falulah' is Anywhere slang that corresponds to words like 'queer' and 'faggot' in your world). Fearing the embarrassment of having a gay son and the threat to her precious Social Standing she conspires to have the child committed to The Asylum for the Strange and The Different - a bleak, nightmarish dumping ground for all those considered by society not to fit in.
