The Butterfly's Wing

The Butter Fly's Wing is based on a true story of a young girl sold into slavery. Or rather sold as a slave and dancer. The family was in great need of money and the only way they'd be able to pay the debt was to sell the young girl to a house in the city where she could earn a living and perhaps be sold to a good husband. The ending of this story was not what I had expected at all. Rarely do such stories end happily, this one dose, amazingly so.
