The collection is full of excellent stories but I was disappointed that the formatting was so poor. The text is mostly acceptable within each paragraph, but the paragraphs are separated by two double spaces, often leaving very little text on a Nook screen. The stories run into one another without headings on separate pages to indicate where one finishes and another begins. Although there is a contents list at the beginning, the hotlinks don't work, and the 'contents' link at the beginning of each story does not work either when clicked. Annoyingly some stories stop abruptly then continue after a full page break.

Worth a few bucks, but the content isn't all there. Says 11 books, 2 or 3 of them are duplicated. Having said that, there is enough content here to be a good deal if it's cheap.

Worked fine and Harrison is always a fun read. Unfortunately, the first story is also the last one. It is also the longest, so not really as much content as it first appears.

I found three books from this publisher that I really would like to have read. Unfortunately none of them will open. I had thought it might be due to the size of the files, but other books I have downloaded that are equally large are fine. All three of these hang up my Nook, and the only way I can get out of it is to turn the device off. I tried going through the techs with the first one, but nothing worked. I went to check a review of one of the books, only to discover that everyone who downloaded the book had that problem. One reader was told the problem's on the publisher's end and once it gets solved, the books will open. So now I have three books that look great and enticing, but can't get open. I'm only giving this one star, but I'm sure I'd rate it higher if I could read it.

Harry Harrison never fails to bring a smile, his work is the best. I saw none of the formatting issue some complained about, all I did was setup the publisher option and it works prefectly.

After reading all the comments on this book I have decided to forego the purchase, sorry B&N I to have had my share of books that wont open or have very bad formatting errors.

The formatting is crap.

Re visiting these stories was a pleasure the plot and characters of Mr. Harrison's creation are interesting and always entertaining. Jason DeGris is one of my favorite sci-fi characters.

The stories are very good, but the formatting of the e-book is all messed up. The links do not work, the page numbers have nothing to do with reality.

It was great rereading these stories from my youth. It would be better if the third book of the trilogy was included!!!

This file is missing major pieces of the text, including the beginning story, and has no index. Not worth getting until they fix this.

It says "Active Contents" but the links don't work and the regular contents shows the whole book as one chapter with a garbage name (long string of hex digits). I like Harry Harrison's work, Deathworld series is an old favorite, too bad the epub version was done so carelessly.

HH and the SSR came after these stories. HH is the same author, yet is still developing his wit and tone. A new SF favorite for me!
