The Honey Year

As the world collapsed on itself during the Covid-19 pandemic, one man was left alone with two brand new hives and the commitment to learn beekeeping. Alone with the bees, he learned the sudden joys and sharp costs of golden tessellations, the smells of hearth and community, the practical language of dance, and the sorrow of losing communion with a composite soul.
