"Trapped in Stone" had an intriguing storyline--a man caught in stone except one night of the year when he was allowed to try to find someone to take his place and the woman who met him each year whose place he had taken--and very strong characters that you felt for. It draws you in quickly and keeps you going right up and through the surprise ending. It takes a good writer to get a strong, complete story with in short form--she hit it. . .

Not too many others want him to succeed, but it looks like one woman might. This story was really different, with great images and unexpected twists and turns. It hooked me completely, right to the end.
