This new series by Mari Carr and Lila Dubois is awesome. This first book, Treachery's Devotion, gives the background on the Masters' Admiralty, a secret organization that has existed for centuries. A gruesome murder in Italy brings together the three principal characters of this book, Tristan Knight, Sophia Starabba, and James Rathmann. A bond is quickly formed between the three as they investigate the murders of three members of the the Masters' Admiralty. All signs point to the return of the Domino, a killer and anarchist who plagued the Masters’ Admiralty in the past. This is just the beginning of the shocking events to come in this riveting story. The passion, the intrigue, the incredible writing make this stunning mystery romance impossible to put down. I loved it.

Wow. This book is the next part of The Trinity Masters series. Let me tell you, I couldn't put it down. There is a lot of action and some very dark moments. This was an interesting Trinity, a daughter of the Admiral of Rome, a Spartan guard and an expert on ancient coins. Together they must find out who killed the Fleet Admiral and why. We are also introduced to a new criminal, The Domino. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

These two authors make an amazing romantic suspense writing team. I am completely addicted to the series already! This is book one in the Masters Admiralty series and it features British knight Tristan Knight, scholar and law-enforcement officer Sophia Starabba and museum coin expert and ex-All Black rugby player James Rathmann. There is a slight attraction between these three. With everything going on in the story there’s barely time to see it grow. Fighting an old enemy known only by name has EVERYONE on edge and constantly trying to stay one step ahead, which proves difficult most of the time. The suspense is OFF-THE-CHARTS AMAZING! The romance is barely there but still fantastic in the grand scheme of things. I’m definitely looking forward to book two!

A new series fashioned after the Trinity Masters series but better because it is actually where they are based on.... The Masters' Admiralty. If you have read the other series you will know what I am talking about. If you have not, no worries. This series is separate unto itself and yes the Trinity Masters are mentioned but our authors of course worries. Authors did you get that yes there is a S on the end there 2 authors write this as one and you will have no idea that this is not one person writing this book. This read checked all the boxes for me. It has mystery, intense suspense, romance and oh my can I say sexy read! I pretty much know that I will get a really good reading experience when I read one of the menage books by this duo but this book, set in today's time is even more moving than any of their previous books have been. It had me in tears in places and it also had me swooning other times. Well, written and hot as the oven set on broiler. I can not wait until we get book 2 in this series. This will definitely be a re-read for me.... There was so many tiny, wonderful details in this book I am sure I missed some that I will need in upcoming books. Best store them in my memory now, for later.

Received ARC for a fair and honest review** Treachery's Devotion is the first book in the Masters' Admiralty series. The book ties into Beloved Sacrifice, book 9 in the Trinity Masters series-- where you meet Tristan Knight. This book can be read as a standalone. Tristan Knight/Arthur Billings is a knight in the British Territory, when he finds out he has to escort a coin expert to Rome he thinks he is being punished for his hand in helping Wes (Beloved Sacrifice) and he's not too happy. James Rathmann is excited he was get to use his expertise to help with some case in Rome. James is an Ex Pro Rugby player that was severely injured while playing for the All Blacks Rugby team, since he could no longer play, he found an interest in archeology and specifically Numismatics. When they get to Rome they are picked up by Sofia Sarabba/Principessa who is the Carabinieri they will be working with. Sofia is essentially a police officer that specializes in art and artifacts. When Tristan and James get to Rome and are escorted to the crime scene they realize this is a lot bigger than they were led to believe. And from there things will get really crazy... gotta save the good stuff for you to read!! Wow, this book was chock full of craziness... it was a veritable rollercoaster ride that when it finishes you exit and feel like what the heck just happened. This book not only sets up the series well but also gives you romance, drama, suspense, and a HEA. I had a hard time putting this book down, there was so much going on I just couldn't find a place where I could leave off. I really enjoyed the characters, the sub-characters, the story line. If I had to come up with a complaint, it was I really wished we got a little bit more of this trinity's story. **SPOILER** **SPOILER** **SPOILER** **SPOILER** **SPOILER** **SPOILER** The ending also doesn't give you closure which is hard to accept. You go through all the angst and craziness but it's not over. At least it doesn't feel like it to me. I'm sure it will probably carry over into the next book but that doesn't help now. That's just a me thing, I like to feel some sort of closure. The book was very well written. And I can't wait for the next book in the series!!! Hope this helps!! Happy Reading!!!

Treachery's Devotion introduces readers to the world of the Masters' Admiralty which is an old world secret society which unites triads to bring balance to the world. Treachery's Devotion unites the triad of Sophia, Tristan, and James in order to decipher clues and navigate destructive and devastating events that threaten to destroy the Masters' Admiralty. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois brilliantly brings together mystery, suspense, angst, and sexy scenes in Treachery's Devotion. The heartache and self-doubt of the characters are overcome by the unconditional support, caring, and love Sophia, Tristan, and James provide each other throughout their journey in Treachery's Devotion. Although the Masters' Admiralty is a spin-off from the Trinity Masters series, it is not necessary to read the Trinity Masters series in order to understand the Masters' Admiralty world.

This is the first book in a new series, a spin-off of the Trinity Masters series, by these same authors.  It, too, is about a secret organization, that agrees to arranged menage marriages in exchange for membership.  This book can be read as a stand alone, but there are some references to the books in the Trinity Masters series that would not make sense if you have not read that series.  There is also some things left unresolved, that lead toward an opening for the next book, but it does not end in a cliff hanger (I really hate cliffys!). Before beginning this book, I wasn't quite sure what to expect.  I wasn't sure if it was going to be similar to the Trinity Masters, or if they were going to take it in a completely new direction.   As always, Mari Carr and Lila Dubois had a few surprises up their sleeves!   What starts out as an investigation, leads to something bigger than Tristan, Sophia, and James could have ever imagined.  They have to figure out how to navigate everything that is thrown their way, as well as do their part to usher in a new era for their organization.   I loved this book so hard!  The non stop action, the relationship between the main characters, as well as the surprises at every turn, kept me guessing from the first page to the last.  There were a few times while reading, that I had to stop, and reread a passage, because I couldn't quite believe what I had just read (in a good way, of course!).  It was an amazing story and I could not put it down.
