About the Author

Before finding domestic bliss in suburbia, ST Bende lived in Manhattan Beach (became overly fond of Peet’s Coffee) and Europe… where she became overly fond of McVities cookies. Her love of Scandinavian culture and a very patient Norwegian teacher inspired the books of The Elsker Saga. She hopes her characters make you smile and that one day, pastries will be considered a health food.

Find ST on Twitter @stbende, her blog, or send her an e-mail. While you're at it, introduce yourself to @UllMyhr -- when he's not saving the cosmos from dark elves, he loves meeting new friends . . . especially the human kind.

What am amazing book. Gods & Goddesses, Faithful friends & bitter enemies. Good vs Evil. I cannot get enough of this series. I would love to read more about some of the other characters we have met & Ardis needs her HEA what ever that might be. Five stars for this truly exciting book. It is so hard to not give away the story. Read it you won't be sorry

The conclusion to the Elsker series is almost the conclusion of the Norse gods and their realms as this final tale in Kristia and Ull's story weaves around Ragnarok. The action doesn't begin until about halfway through the book. The first half is a little slower, taking place on Kristia and Ull's honeymoon while Kristia acclamates to being The Seer and a new goddess, with all the new powers and strengths that contains. If you loved the swoon-worthy romance of the hotness that is Norse god of Winter, Ull Myrh, then this book--particularly the beginning--is for you. If, however, you're like me and love the heart-pounding twists and turns of a wall-thought-out action-rich plot, then you will enjoy the latter part of the book when Kristia and all her friends have to step up and fight the evil bringing about Ragnarok. Although a little predictable at times, the pace of the plot during the fighting was fast and the anticipation built. The imagery in these scenes which take place in various realms was well described by S.T. Bende and once again she gives a fascinating take on Norse mythology in the modern world. My only qualm was that the ending seemed a bit rushed and too 'perfectly planned,' wherein the last remaining dangling thread threatening the safety and well-being of Kristia, Ull and their loved ones was fixed my merely finding the right thing at exactly the right time. That said, I may be a little biased against any ending S.T. Bende would've done because I enjoyed this series and would read more about the promising, but also potentially dangerous future Ull and Kristia now face, having survived Ragnarok together. Overall, a good conclusion to a greater series.

Ull and Krisita have true friends in Gunnar and Inga. We also run into Elsker, Thor, Odin, Sif, and Olaug from Asgard. I love that they are building a relationship to last forever and both Ull and Krisita are strong and confident. Outstanding to the last page! I only wish there were more to read. Saved to read again and passed to my daughter.

S.T. Bende does it again with this amazing story! Ull Myhr has stolen my heart and I am so happy with the way the story was written and all the lovely details that made it come to life for me. Kristia remained strong throughout the story and I loved that! She steps up in a time of need for mostly strangers for the man she loves. I hope to see more from this interesting family and the fabulous author!
