About the Author

Peter Hargitai is an American poet, novelist, and an award-winning literary translator. His awards include
the Landon Prize from the Academy of American Poets, The Füst Milan Prize, a Fulbright Grant, and the
Pro Cultura Hungarica Medal. He is listed in Harold Bloom’s The Western Canon: The School
and Books of the Ages.
