My parents were devoted to their 10 children. I had the freedom to pursue whatever interested me. It was all up to me.
I did not know what I wanted. I went with the flow knowing I would eventually figure it out.
My college advisor said you may have a job, go to school or have a social life. Your limit is two.
I tried to do all three and flailed at all three. My grades hovered between B- and C+.
I took solace in the claim that A students work for the Bs and the Cs own the company.
My autobiography encompasses three phases:
Age 01 - 28: School and military service.
Age 29 - 52: Employed and raised a family.
Age 53 - 82: Owned and ran my own company.
Each year was better than the previous year.
