Theresa is such a wonderful friend/writer. She knows how to pull readers into the story and leaving them hanging after each chapter from the very first page. I haven't read this story yet, but I've read some of her other stories and they just leave me hanging so I know she'll leave me hanging again. She always does! Great Job Theresa Buddy!! Fantasy is my go-to genre when I want to get lost in another world. Cambria is a beautiful story that weaves so many of the fantastic fantasy themes togteher and produces a page-turning book I didn't want to put down! Seth is a young man going to visit his Uncle Herman one summer and discovers he and his family is much more than he ever dreamed. He finds himself in the world Cambria, a mystical place where honor and loyalty are more than just words, where Knights, Kings, dragons and magic are more than just legends lost to history. Seth embarks on a true Hero's Journey. struggling to find his identity and purpose, battling darkness and evil, and finding romance in the arms of the lovely Brianna. But don't be misled into thinking this is a story that has been told countless times, because it's not! It has wonderful classic elements, but it's wholly unique with unexpected twists and suprises. The characters were easy to connect with, and I found myself invested in them very early on. Seth, coming from a modern day realm, and Brianna and her friends existing in Cambria, creates a lovely blend; a fairy-tale world that keeps a grip on the present. The dialogue and descriptions are sirring and the author has an excellent grasp on language. Several times I was shaking my head in awe because I could so easily visualize what was being described, and I was able to do so not because of lengthy, tedious, paragraphs but rather through eloquent, well-chosen word combinations. The world building was very good and when I cicked the last page, I found myself saddened that I was going to have to leave this world behind. I hope there will be another book, and if so I will snatch it up immediately! Five stars from me, highly recommended!

Just finished reading today. If you like stories about Dragons, Castles, knights, Princesses, friends or even True love stories that span time then this is the perfect book for you. Seth is sent to his Great Uncle Hermans for the summer only to find that he has to help on the farm. During his time there Seth finds out that his uncle is a Sorcerer Seth and Briana are from different Eras but end up falling in Love due to Seths being sent back in time to a place called Cambria in 1128. Ends up meeting the father he thought was a Bum and his True Love Briana. With the help of a Magical Medallion that can sent someone through time to another place and back. In Cambria Seth again works on the farm with Colin (his father), Briana, Bryce and Reese (both become like brothers) Draco killed Briana's family when Briana was just a baby. She was saved by Colin and is the only father figure she has ever known. They must all fight to save Cambria and Briana after she is kidnapped by Draco to become his queen (they must save her as she is the rightful Heir). OMG I could go on and on about this wonderful book. Please please read it. I have to say towards the end i felt a lump in my throat. I'm not going to Spoil things for you but this book is a MUST read. When I finished it today I was down because I wanted to know more. So guess what i'll be doing I'm going to purchase the next book.

"Cambria" by Theresa Oliver brought me to a different world! I could really get into this book, and all the details made it feel very real. I was hooked from the beginning! I especially enjoyed how Theresa Oliver mixed modern society and the old world together. She also shows how some legends could be true without us knowing, such as dragons. Plus, there's a unicorn. Unicorns make everything better. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it for everyone. I can't wait for the next book!!!

Cambria was a witty, sweet, and adventurous read all in one. I enjoyed the story, and was brought back to the days of when my dad would tell us stories of princesses, knights, and castles when we were growing up. It was easy to read and left you with a warm feeling at the end.

In "Cambria, Cambria Series, Book 1," Seth Roberts is a typical teenager who goes on the adventure of a lifetime when his Great Uncle Herman sends him to the unique land of Cambria. And in Cambria, his life begins. Seth meets Briana, the future queen of Cambria, and soon they fall in love. This book is unique in that Seth goes back in time and meets his real father, unaware that his mother had ventured to Cambria years before. In Cambria, Seth discovers himself and unlocks his true potential. "Cambria" is a heartwarming story filled with memorable characters and a great, well thought out plot. In Cambria, this amazing land where flying unicorns are commonplace, and wizards walk the earth, young adults will be whisked away right along with Seth. Young adult readers will relate to this story, as it deals with issues many teenagers today face and triggers the imagination, taking the reader on an amazing journey. In all, "Cambria" is an adventure worth taking. I give it five stars.
