Jerome Alexander Sillem (1840-1912) was a jurist, historian and politician from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Sillems were originally bankers from Hamburg, but Jerome's grandfather had settled in Amsterdam in the late eighteenth century. The family was well integrated into the Amsterdam commercial and political elite.
