Mystical Cats Tarot is a beautifully-illustrated and cat-themed version of the traditional tarot deck; each suit and each archetype/symbol in the traditional deck are represented by slightly altered in order to fit the mystical cat theme of the deck, presenting slightly altered names for arechetypes named on each card, intended to have similar or pretty much the same symbolism and meaning as their original tarot deck counterparts but with a slight twist towards cats and the cat correlate card's character. Not easy for a beginned or novice tarot reader to just pick up and be able to understand, interpret, or even just know how to use at all, The descriptions and explanations of the cards that come in the box are enough to explain and correlate how this deck is representing things compared to the traditional deck but without enough to explanation or full conveyance of the themes/symbols/metaphors/archetypes/implications/etc. that each card possesses. Unless you find yourself with an innate ability to just use the cards and know how to get what you're seeking from them (which I believe some people do find themseves with), you should prep yourself with learning the original tarot deck and each of its cards and arm yourself with a handy reference so that you can check on further meaning and deeper understanding of the Mystical Cats Tarot cards by being able to look up all of the correlating reference guides to their traditional tarot analogues.
Just got my set today, am totally enchanted with it. I can already tell it is a deck easy to work with intuitively, But Lunaea Weatherstones's book is really lovingly and thoughtfully done as well. It iwsn't just rote descriptions, Her insightsabout that card and ists possible applications in your life via the spread. I am so glad I listened to other reviewers who strongly recommended this, it is simply wonderful!
