My book is a collection of memories of an eighty-four old woman who grew up in the 1940s and the 1950s. My family were farmers. My memories are working hard on the farm, warm summer evenings playing with my brothers in the twilight hours, Christmas on the farm with Grandma, Christmas programs at our one room country school. There are some sadness in my childhood but I chose to keep my book focused on happy times and to show the difference between the time I grew up and the way children grow...
