Overview

Maya ran away searching desperately for an adventure to give her life some meaning, but she may have gotten more than she bargained for when on her first night a wolf-eared amnesiac falls from the sky and into her life!

She quickly discovers John is rude, selfish, and downright dangerous, but Maya can’t seem to stay away. Mystery and intrigue abound as Maya and John begin to unravel his past while trying to stay one step ahead of an ambitious military, unexplained monsters, and murderous machines that all seem curiously interested in both of them.

As they’re joined by unique and unpredictable companions along their travels, more of the deadly plots that follow them are revealed. Suddenly thrown into a world where martial arts meet super-science, Maya is getting all the danger and adventure she could ask for!

Can Maya and her new friends stay sane through the bloody battles and maddening mind games? Can they stay united despite the infighting and torment of everyday teenage angst? Well, they had better, because little do they know their world is depending on them.

Meet the Author

Hey, I'm Eric. I grew up in a small town in north Texas absorbed in Animorphs and Goosebumps, and through the years really developed a love of sci-fi/fantasy that shows in my work. Favorite authors today include Terry Goodkind, Jennifer Fallon, and Yoshikawa Miki. I try to bring a sense of realism into worlds that can only exist in words, while incorporating my own experiences and interests. My goal in every book is to let the reader have fun.
