Chelle, a native Floridian, began going to Siesta Key Beach, which was an hour away from her home, during a global pandemic. She needed an escape now that she was working from home, and the beach was one of the few places to go. Not a regular beachgoer, Chelle became a frequent visitor. She found peace, comfort, and healing during her walks on the beach following the loss of her mother. This place also became a refuge for Chelle to be her authentic self and quickly became her happy place.
