I am simply delighted with this book! The Tarot Coloring Book by Theresa Reed is a wonderful concept - hands on learning through the fun medium of coloring. This book is perfect for those new to tarot. The author breaks down the sometimes daunting task of learning the meaning of each card into easy to handle pieces. She puts the beginner at ease with down to earth language and an approachable writing style. Add to that the concept of coloring as a learning tool & you’ve got a winning combination for success. But it’s not just for those new to tarot. The meditative act of coloring the cards helps connect with them on a deeper level and to rediscover overlooked details. If you love adult coloring books, you must give this one a try. It’s a good size (8 1/2 x 11), is spiral bound so it lays flat and is printed on good quality paper. The images themselves are lovely & quite large and are set off by a wonderful grayscale border. My preferred media with coloring books are colored pencils & gel pens and they work beautifully on this paper. So whether you are new to tarot, interested in deepening your tarot practice or looking for a new and exciting coloring adventure, you can't go wrong with this book.
