Overview

Everything DOES happen for a reason. Every joy, hurt, love and loss happens for a reason. Every person and situation -- whether difficult, confusing, joyous, painful or enlightening -- is present for a purpose. Nothing that exists within our lives or even the world at large is merely some random roll of the dice thrown by the Universe.

In "Everything Happens for a Reason", Suzane Northrop talks about how the choices we make -- before birth, during life, and after death -- affect not only our own lives, but also those of the people we love. She talks about how different kinds of death can affect the lives of those left behind, and how those who've passed, along with the living, can help one another to heal from the loss and move on. To live through the loss of a loved one is a difficult lesson for every soul, but sometimes it's a lesson that can help to awaken us to the significance of many aspects of life in general and our life in particular. Even in death, there is a reason. We may not understand what these reasons are today, tomorrow or for a decade or more... yet they nevertheless exist.

You will leave this book with more peace in your heart knowing that everything that occurs in the life of every soul, on this plane or the next, happens for a reason, and is there to help that soul complete its own unique program of learning. The sou has no beginning nor ending, it is rather an accumulation of experiences that happen for a reason... and the reason is based in the power of love.

"Everything Happens for a Reason" is the book that brought me to the understanding that absolutely NO experience occurs simply by chance or a coincidence. It was a book that came to me at a time when I needed to make sense of what was occurring in my life - and I have read it multiple times since then! The examples Suzane Northrop shares from her experiences professionally as a working medium, as well as the experiences of her clients, demonstrate that synchronicity, or meaningful "coincidence", is a very real phenomenon. Suzane's down-to-earth, humorous and compassionate style of writing helped me to wrap my head around the reasons why certain things were happening in my life in the way and time that they were. If you are looking for a greater understanding as to why certain jobs, relationships, or situations are occurring in your life . . . wanting to understand more about the soul, spirit, and free will (and how it all plays a part in your life now) . . . or simply looking for comfort and reassurance after the loss of a loved one, this book is a must-read. It truly helps everything else make sense.

I read this book several months after the death of a loved one. I had already been to see a medium, and read this book because I was intrigued by it. This book really put things into perspective for me, and made me rethink previous notions about life and death. I would recommend this to anyone who is in the process of healing.
