Overview

Turn out the lights, stoke up the fire, and enjoy another set of true spooky tales from the cache of T. M. Simmons' ghost hunting diaries. Curious Capers of the Calvert Ghosts, Parts One and Two, are tales of true supernatural encounters in a haunted bed and breakfast in Calvert, Texas. Great-Grandpa and the Horseless Carriage tells of a meeting with one of the prominent members of Texas history, close to his beautiful historic home, Griffith Homeplace. Attack of the Evil Pickup is the true story of the first time Simmons ventured into the infamous Goshen Cemetery in East Texas. Sad Little Skateboard Ghost is a residual haunting tale (at least, Simmons hopes it is). How I Met My Haunted House is the story of how Simmons began to realize her home was, indeed, haunted by several paranormal boarders. Carl's County Farm relates the story of how Simmons and fellow paranormal investigator, Angela Rogers, banished a demon that was torturing and killing animals on a friend's farm.
Simmons has again included some additional information about her life as a paranormal investigator. In this volume, she tells you what she carries in her ghost hunting vest. Also, you will finally meet Timmy Smith, her Paranormal Gear Tech.
Finally, she has added a chapter of her forthcoming dark paranormal suspense, Winter Prey to close this volume.
Perhaps you will be able to turn out the lights before you go to sleep after reading these tales. Perhaps not.

About the Author

T. M. Simmons was dragged down the ghost hunting trail many years ago, due to her avid curiosity and an aunt, Belle Brown, who had been dealing with the paranormal for more years than that. Before, and after, becoming a ghost hunter, Simmons wrote. Therefore, it followed she would write down her numerous ventures into the other dimensions, recording both the incidents and the ghosts and spirits she met along the way. From the numerous folders now filled with her diaries, she has started choosing a few to publish as e-books for her readers' enjoyment and as preludes to longer, fiction books she pens.
Ah, yes, her writing. Simmons sold her first book two years from the time she started writing. After a decade and a dozen books in the romance genre writing historical and paranormal fiction, she veered into penning paranormal mysteries. Her Dead Man series books, so far including Dead Man Talking and Dead Man Haunt, first saw the light of day in hardback. Now they are available as e-books for various e-reading devices.
The forthcoming fiction book after Ghost Hunting Diary Volume III will introduce a new phase in Simmons' writing career: her first dark paranormal suspense: Winter Prey. This book is not one of her happy-ever-after romances, nor is it a quirky comedy/horror Dead Man book. The monster, a windigo, is a cannibal. The story evolved from some of the dark entities Simmons encounters on her ghost hunts, and has been written and awaiting publication for a couple years. She decided it had waited long enough and is leading off her fiction books with it for 2012.
Simmons continues to fill her ghost hunting diary file. She delights in scaring herself silly at times during other-worldly encounters and has been known to visit graveyards in both the dark and full of the moon.
Simmons is extremely willing to discuss her experiences with anyone she can corner. She has a few pictures on her web site at http://www.iseeghosts.com, Tweets as @TMSimmonsauthor, has a blog at http://www.iseedeafolks.blogspot.com, and a Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/tranam.simmons.
