Scientists in Japan are working day and night to find the source of a 300-year-old mummy.
The head of the mummy is like Monkey. The lower part of the body is like the tail of a fish.
The mummy was kept in a box at a temple in the town of Asakuchi, according to the Japanese newspaper The Asahi Shimban. Next to the mummy was a letter.
The letter states that the animal was caught in a fisherman's net near Shikaku Island in the Pacific Ocean between 1838 and 1841.
