This is a brilliant book, a must read. The author takes the reader on a journey from being diagnosed to her recovery. Throughout the pages you can feel what the author goes through during this time, from the drugs, surgery and things like the loss of her hair. This is an open and honest account of her life during a difficult time and one I am thankful she has shared. It has helped me to see what a work colleague has gone through when she was diagnosed and think about ways in which I could possibly help her. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, whether they are the person with cancer or family and friends.

This book is raw, emotional and encouraging. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has been through breast cancer or going through the experience. It is great for families to understand the experience. The author is so courageous to share her experience in this wonderful book.
