I purchased this book because my brother has recently been diagnosed and treated for Bi-Polar disorder. Dr. Gupta writes in a clear and concise manner and manages to make complicated medical concepts understandable. I had read many web pages that addressed the symptoms, causes and treatment of Bi Polar disease but none of them were as easy to read and understand as this e-book. I have recommended this book to the rest of my family. Paul

I am a 53 years old single mother who has been bounced around by the medical system for the better part of my adult life. I have had symptoms for many years that my Primary Care doctor said were 'classic' depression symptoms, one Psychologist told me that I had ADHD, another Social Worker told me that I had a symptoms of anxiety but no one ever mentioned BiPolar disease. It was my neighbor who suggested this book and after reading it I realized that all my symptoms fit the description of BiPolar disorder. I am now seeing a psychiatrist who agrees and I am receiving treatment finally. I am so grateful for this book. It is organized in a way that is easy to read and to understand. It will answer all your basic and not so basic questions about this disease and I highly recommend it for anyone who needs to know more about the often misdiagnosed cluster of symptoms that are seen in people with BiPolar disease.
